The player uses this skill to haggle the price of an item at a Vendor or Shop, to get a better deal or a lower price on the item. When buying an Item, the player has a UI option or a Conversation option “Barter”, which when used will result in the player using the skill.
How it works[ | ]
Haggling for an item can have two results. A successful barter will result in a lower price for the item and the player receives XP points, while failing a barter will result in a temporal price increase on an item and the player is not able to barter with the vendor for a certain time period. With a streak of failed barter attempts the vendor might not sell to the player for a certain time period.
